With the advent of EQMac shutting down, I have decided to recreate the code injection hooks that we at EQEmulator did a while back, and I did them from scratch. This allows you to log in to EQMac servers using windows. We're currently using this to packet log before the EQMac servers get shut down. We might be able to salvage EQMac and create an emulator for it but that is to be determined.

You MUST have a C drive for this to work.

Instructions:

1) Download EQ, Place in C:\EQMac\, extract the 7z archive on top of C:\EQMac.
2) Set your desktop color to 16-bit.
3) Run eqw, login with your station username and password at the login screen. You must have a currently or previously active account with Sony (before 2012) to log in.
4) Create/Select a character.
5) Enjoy!

Removed. Trying to negotiate with SOE to fix this and keep EQMac alive.

NOTE: WSOCK32.dll is a fake winsock program. If you require its source I can post it here but any disassembler can open it and you can clearly see it is a DLL loader for eqgame.dll and a proxy for WSOCK32.dll, if it flags as a virus then that's because it's named after a system file. This is just an order of operations issue in Windows that I exploit to load the actual code to EQGame.exe and it is not a virus.
