EQ and Core 2 Duo Processor/Vista

Been thinking about upgrading my rig, but have not heard anything positive about new Core 2 Duo processors/Vista and EQ. Any feedback positive or negative would be greatly appreciated. Rumors abound about it running EQ slowly, just wondering if any have had any problems.

you just need to set your system up right and it works fine. Its not 100 plug and play anymore but its easy to tweak if you read
