looks like you need to open, then minimize, your campfire window. i guess i need to add a /windowstate open there.

Pete question - can I setup so the outside cleric monitors entire group and heals whoever needs?

Also can I setup so the bot watches for buffs if needed?

So i would setup targets to say something like

1
2 warrior
3 bard
4 monk

Sorry to be so dumb (i am donating for wasting your time) but how do I add someone outside of group to the target list?
 
Yes @ order. You target the spawn you want, then click the icon on your xtarget menu and add them as "Current target".

Then you set [Buff] BuffXTargets=TRUE or whatever the setting is in that section.
 
How do I get bots outside of group to debuff mobs that MT in the outside group is hitting?

If your tank is using bot.mac assisttype2, and connected to EQBC, it should announce that message and everyone should assist. Alternatively, you can use assisttype=4 and use netbots. or you can use EQBC and then manually control it via a hotkey:

/bc ${SetTargetMessage} ${Target.ID}

i read page 12 on customization where it has some mez info. i went by that , (ive even added the conditions and taken them away, added all 3 mez types to combat frequency and then tried em 1 at a time and ive completely removed them , i cant seem to get it to work)i can pull as many as 5 and as few as 2 and it wont mez,pbaemez or aemez anything..instead he just debufss and stuns over and over, could someone please take a look and tell me what im missing.

Sorry to be a pest.

I am trying to setup the following:

group of 6 characters lead by a warrior I manually control and pull with

I have 3 high level characters I use to heal/buff/debuff outside the group (i got them setup to use xtraget to monitor buffs and heals and is working great - thanks)

i have 3 other characters that I would like to bot as extra dps, but also which I can add and subtract to the group to level up 9 charcaters total

Back in the day I had bot that would allow all the characters to attack the same mob with a EQBC command assistme

I have tried to setup the outside characters using assist mode 4 and the command Kill_this - but the melee will not move to attack

I checked the usemelee and it is set to true, my warrior is listed

I must be doing something wrong..

anyone have any thoughts?
 
ok so now im totally confused.. i tried everything i could think of , added and took away , changed group settings around, tried all same mobs , all different mobs,, chanter wont mez even once(ae, pbae,and single) so i was done until someone took a look and pointed out what i did wrong and helped me fix it..

well i was on a different computer exact same set up(i copied and pasted everything over through dropbox.. i started playing and no idea why but my chanter is mezzing effortlessly.

so i tried a few different things to try and test what was wrong.. i put my tank on a different computer (the one where i was having a problem) chanter still mezzing through eqbc/netbots..so i tried to put chanter back on the first computer.. dead , no mezzez just debuffs like before ..

i would just leave em on separate pcs, but during the week i have to use one of the pcs for work and i cant put instances on it or ill wind up caught and in trouble..

any idea what could be causing this anomaly? any insight would be appreciated, my ini is on the previous page of this thread, but it sounds like a weird problem the ini related

Emu question

Does your bot work on emu servers? I'm using UF client. I read some of the wiki and saw that mq2mmotlo is needed. The emu version is something similar but limited I am assuming,
 
cmarsh: I only play on live, regular servers. I have never played on anything else, nor test/code towards that end. I have no idea what works where.

Noah: I have no idea why that would happen, which is why I didnt respond in the first place. All your settings look good. I dont know if maybe you have different plugins loaded that would somehow cause it not to work. Mob_Ignore_list.ini could have them as mez immune (as knox points out below).


Posting this version to test from other thread that has stun event labeled correctly for mobs casting gate/complete heal.

Also posting no more moving forwards/backwards if on a mount since /stopcast works now.

Have you taken a look to make sure your mobs aren't added to the Mob_ignore_list.ini? in the macros folder, find the zone you're fighting in and see if they were added to the mez section

all the mobs that i have fought in the zone are marked as mez immune..

the only question i have now is how the heck did they get in their, they are not immune to mez, and also i didn't even know i had a mob ignore list , so how did one get created. and how do i prevent it from recreating...

Lists for all resist types are automatically generated for every zone you enter with bot.mac running. Mobs are auto added to the ignore list based on mez immune messages from single target mezzes. Sometimes if you manually mez or an AE mez somehow sneaks in and you get a message, it will add it to the list, but in general, AE mezzes should be ignored.

As you can see, there are a bunch of lists you can add things to in order to ignore certain spell types. If mobs getting added are a continued problem, i can take a harder look at it, but i used the method that is in place for years and only had a few issues now and then, most of which are now resolved.

I would love to have a highly accurate list for all the immune types so that it could be shared with everyone. I have some partials for a few zones because i long ago deleted my old copies that had tons of zones in them. Guess I could check my email account, i know i sent them to myself years ago.

is there any way to disable the mobignore list ? or even cause it to stop auto adding things? i am in there every 5 mins deleting everything and it keeps coming back, and the mobs are not immune, but they come up in immune and then it ignores them

I could add an override setting to ignore mezzes, but why are they getting added in the first place if they arent immune. Why would the immune message trigger? It only adds mez immune mobs if you get the message that "Your target cannot be mesmerized." or whatever.
 
i get that message on some and those go in there , for the ones that are not immune i have no idea why its doing that , maybe im pulling too many and its throwing em all in? ive just been deleting them every time, otherwise within 30 mins every mob ive fought goes in there even corpses and then i cant mezz anything unless its manually
