Ultimate Spell Skiller Macro!!!!!!!!

i use the autoforage plugin... not sure if melee's forage handles the items on the cursor.... but since i have been using autoforage since i started MQ2 ... it works like a champ.
ARMY
Several thousand (or so it seems) Treant branches and enough vegetables to feed an army later, I swear by the Autoforage plugin. Also got me 2 druids and a ranger from near Zero forage to max in roughly 2 days each.
 
I was able to get it to move onto the next skill by removing all instances of abjuration in the macro with notepad++ then saving a copy of the macro "skillz1.mac" in this case.

So you could do this by what I mentioned above or I could upload a copy if anyone is interested. Using this on a wizard, it's working very well.

I also removed the spells for each class and any calls referencing to the skill I removed from the macro in order to get it to move on. There may be an easier way, but I didn't see it.

First time I've ever successfully modded a macro, I'm pretty excited lol!

Oh nothing is wrong!

I just already had a pretty high abjuration skill and wanted it to move on from it to start working my alteration skill, but since my skill isn't maxed at the cap it wanted to keep working that particular skill. I didn't see any way to give the macro syntax to tell it which skill to start with (if you only wanted to boost particular skills).

Actually,

I wasn't able to get this working via that method, maybe I'm doing it wrong...

Do you enter /twist # (say 1 for example) after you enable the macro? I've tried it both with the macro running and not, but either way I wasn't able to get it to do anything. (Couldn't parse command)
 
don't need the macro running,

Load plugin mq2twist

mem the spell you want in lets say gem1

then /twist 1

this will cast whatever spell is in gem1 over and over until you tell it to stop
/twist off
 
how safe is this? i thought in the past some people got busted for afk spell skill casting

If you get popped for afk spell casting, you probably pissed in someones Wheaties.
 
when and where

It depends when you use it, and where. if your in a guild hall, with only you there, its not going to get you busted unless you are being watched already.

Now, if you are in PoK, casting the same spell at main bank for 10 hours... someone will know, and your ass is toast.


So, Use it smart, and you will be fine.
 
Downloaded mac, worked a treat for Mage. Only mod I did was to chang order of spells so that toon had right specialisations (my choice). Forgot initially, just did specialisation reset quest, and job was a good-un. Excellent and very useful macro.
 
Stumbled upon an issue. Can no longer cast evocation spells on yourself. When you try, it gives you a red message that says: Your spell did not take hold. Thoughts on how we can work around this for the macro?
 
use a house if you are in guild hall or i think pok wont allow damage either and i know lobby wont, it wont let you cast any damage on self or others

Can't nuke self in guild hall, lobby or neighborhood. I don't have a house so I dunno if I can do it there or not. I'm a bit too poor to get a house lol.
 
You can get a house for free, well the house part. The plot you still have to pay for.
 
Yea, I'm too poor lol. Highest toon is 76 and I don't play him much anymore. Been slowly leveling a druid/shaman team. And when I say slowly, I mean slowly lol. Druid just hit 50 and Shaman hit 52.
