pc to ipod

hey folks,

I was wondering if anyone would be able to suggest software to transfer mp3's/avi's/data etc... to the ipod without having to use Itunes.

Seems everytime we try and use Itunes we lose everything.

I'm looking for something simple, like drag 'n' drop deal, if that's even possible.

I know it can be done on those usb flash keys/drives, but can this be done with the Ipod?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

One other option if you can't find what you want.

Install iTunes without connecting the iPod, then use a program called Music Rescue to recover everything to the PC.

After recovering everything you should be able to sync normally without issue. It's worth a shot.
