Good evening, All!

I just found out about this plugin and decided to give it a try. I loaded the plugin, updated the INI on my SERVER_CHARACTER file. The good news is, my BST will go straight into the fight and my MQ2Melee takes over. The bad news, she isn't casting a single spell. I have looked over everything and I'm not finding any posts with this issue. I also noticed that there are a lot of mentions for if statements "Nuke0if=" but I don't see any notation on where that should be entered. The INI's posted are missing them too.

Sorry if I'm being a complete noob. Please help me figure this out? It seems super powerful if I could get it to work.

So i have to ask. do you have assist on /attack turned on and havent used /bot on? because i could see that maybe being a thing. but not casting any spells at all really sounds like you havent /bot on.
 
I have /assist on and /bot on. I can see it changing my 12th spell slot to pet buffs but never actually casting it.

I know it really shouldn't be this hard. :(

interesting quirk. i will eventually get around to removing the --> on summoning pets but it doesnt affect anything so not worrying about it right now.

If mq2cast is giving the message, try just using the pet spell yourself and see if that unsticks it. otherwise unload/load mq2cast and mq2 as a whole if the issue persists. sometimes mq2cast issues need to be resolved by resetting your computer. its funny like that.

I tried this again tonight and she still won't cast anything. Just continues to give me the "aborting" message.

I'd suggest you bookmark it. Plugins required/recommended are:

MQ2Bot(Obviously)
MQ2Cast
MQ2Melee (for any disc/ability/sticking settings)
MQ2MoveUtils (if you want to autofollow)
MQ2EQBC (if you want to announce in eqbc or use netbots feature)
MQ2NetBots (if you want to use netbots feature)
MQ2Twist (if you are a bard)
MQ2MMOTLO (for authorization by MMOBugs UserName, not required if authorized by SOE account name)
MQ2AdvLoot (if you wish to loot using mq2advloot)

My guess is you don't have MQ2Cast plugin checked in your plugin configuration.

Of course I've checked the wiki and I have all of the plugins required. Mq2not does everything else except cast the spells. When it attempts to I be the message that it's aborting. Which means mq2cast is running but her is somthing wrong..

Pete, any suggestions?

my current suggestion remains the same as my previous. cast the pet spell manually and see if that clears it up. there is a specific timer of 6 seconds for force cast spells. only buffs/pets are set up as those. forced memorization spells are what cause the abort message. therefore, it is high probability that one of your spells is memorizing, taking too long, then trying to swap out spells before it can cast.

Didn't mean to insult you. People come in here all the time who didn't read the instructions, or the wiki. You do have spells loaded right?

No worries! I think I'm just frustrated with myself that I can't figure this out. I know it isn't mq2cast because my other macros work fine. (modbot and dev's Shamanbot). I have all spells loaded and she won't cast anything, pet buffs, nukes, etc. If I cast it manually then it rolls to the next one and aborts again.

In frustration I switched to bot.Mac and that works well.
