Just ordered an Intel G2 Value-line SSD. Hopefully it works well. I haven't had many problems with the aforementioned platter drives either... I mean, i've had most every brand die on me eventually but I suppose that's to be expected (RMA works if you care enough).

I've ordered a couple of our users at work G2's and they love them. I'd like to get something along that line maybe with tax money.

I prefer WD out of all my computers/drives I have less issue with my WD then I have had with any other. My second is the Intel SSD but I only have 1 of them, so not a lot of testing done on that line.

I used to be a seagate fan but i've had way too many failures. Now I just go with whatevers cheap and has a long warranty, and mirror raid them.

That being said I've had less failures with WD than any other, but I've also probably had less of them than other brands.
