I just loaded up the monk after a few months and i have a problem with melee and sticking. Without a macro running and just hitting Q for attack, the monk wants to go behind the mob. I'm am soloing with him so he starts circling the mob. I am using regular mq2melee and mq2moveutils. I would like for him to stick to the mob when he starts attacking from. Like if he starts attacking from the side he stays there, same for back and front.

I always have stickrange=0 in my mq2melee ini and use a hotkey to attack and stick to the mob.

Instead of using Q to autoattack, try using a hotkey to do:

/attack on
/pause 10, /stick loose

(I don't know if /attack on works, I always use /assist main)

I have a hotkey setup to do this:

/ass *name of toon here*
/pause 10
/stick 15 behindonce
/attack on

I found that if I didn't put the pause in it would sometimes miss the mob and just stand there all dumb and shit. Also, the behindonce will put him at the rear of the mob once, and after that it doesn't move to the rear again.

What are the settings in your mq2moveutils.INI file?
