anyone mind helping me out i have been using melee for awile to control my melee class toons however i am not sure where to begin to make them cast spells and what not via the mq2melee

mq2melee doesn't cast spells. it just does melee stuff.. hence mq2melee

Well, I use a few different methods. I use macros combined with MQ2Cast and in some situations I use MQ2Twist.

If you want to cast spells with mq2melee, look into holyshit, holyflag, downshit and downflag. Some good info about these in the MQ2 Wiki.
