I don't use macros. Ive read them, ive made a few simple ones 12+ years ago. Regardless, I use mq for maps alone. 2 of the past 3 patches have made every PC including myself come up with "${If[FALSE,(${" in place of their name. If some one could please help id appreciate it. I tried to search for a fix but came up dry. thanks

Sounds like your Captions section in MacroQuest.ini is a problem.

Close down MMOLoader and delete MacroQuest.ini, which will put it back to defaults.

You'll need to reload any custom plugins you use.

Thanks for the tips Fry, I followed them as per your instructions, however, even after uninstalling mq, moving eq, changing wineq, I am im worse than I was when I started. It wont even let me open EQ. And this is the 3rd time ive downloaded a fresh eq copy today.
