Is there a way to make a macro the disables merc charges?

That would be a plugin, not a macro, and highly doubtful. I'm pretty sure to snag the plat like that is server side. /shrug

saw this thread title and thought it had something to do with a bug that was short lived (if even existed, like all the good stuff i seem to hear about after its too late) where you could shroud to the lowest lvl, and get a merc for nearly nothing, then unshroud and have a high lvl one..

will it work that way? becuase i tried that between 2 characters, and when you get it on your high lvl char, from a low lvl, its still low lvl,

they already forsaw that happening...so you have to pay to level back up your merc if you shroud then unshroud.
