Fog + Spell Effect Fog

Evening folks,

I am wondering if there is a way to turn almost everything in EQ off... For example, waterfalls, the fog that the dragons cause in FoS, torches.. And anything else I missed... I cannot find anything in my eqclient ini so I need expert help.

Oh and this isn't a /setfog issue, it's something else that setfog wont turn off.

Anything would be appreciated,

try /particle off


then zone for it to take affect.

/particle off is probably what you're looking for. I don't think that command saves correctly into the .ini though, so you have to redo it each time you log in. There was a thread on the sony forums about where / what to edit in the .ini to make it stick, but I couldn't find it, so you'll have to try and dig it up if you're interested.

Pretty sure it doesn't take effect until you zone after you do the command. So, do it and /fade.

Thanks for the responses folks, was pulling my hair out looking at line after line of nonsense in the .ini, /partcle worked.
