They already cut EverQuest Next when quite a lot of the work was already done. It seems developing a new MMORPG is too risky these days. MOBA sounds about right but I think they've missed the boat on that. The market is already flooded.

I was quite annoyed that they cut EQNext. I got on their crowdfunding bandwagon and ended up with a busted ass version of minecraft.
