Do you have to go through the wholes hero's journey to acquire the armor? Meaning all the other quests starting at level 1 all the way up to it?

Or can you start it at any point?

If this is the same gear I got today from SoD OGH stuff then I don't believe so. Toon had rewards waiting upon logging in after patch. Paragon Silk Gloves was one of the items.

No.

Yes.

You can start it at any point, and only have to do the missions/tasks in the achievment.
