MQ2Melee - Smart enough for Upgrades?

Is MQ2Melee smart enough to realize when I've upgraded a Combat Ability? For example, I just got:
Shadowwalker's Synergy Rank 2

Does it know to use this now or is there configuration I have to modify?

if it is a built in ability then it will pick highest rank.

if it is a holy/down shit you have to change the line of code you entered.

Thanks Dewey! It's a built in skill so I'm assuming it's picking the highest rank (lets hope).

i think htw once said something you'd have to reload it to get it to recognize a new or updated ability that you just added from a tome. i could be wrong on that but i'm pretty sure he wrote that at some point.
