Made a video tutorial. Seems the window wasn't showing in my OBS for the folder selection bit, but hopefully you get the idea based on the shown path's that you need the root folder for each of the selections.

This is a video that can be downloaded from my drop box. I made this video due to a lot of people different users asking me the same mirrored questions over and over again. So as promised to some, here is the video tutorial. I believe it cuts out in BoT which was the last bit I did, but I was basically explaining why we couldn't get a mesh to work in that zone.

Promise no midget porn, just raw footage of me explaining mesh generator.

Was just messing around with Mechanical Guardian. Anyone have experience with zones like this where in the Mesh they're pieces which must get put together at Run Time? When I create a Mesh the character won't go through any door ways beacuse they're disconnected pieces of the zone.

it's hard to explain, but if you open the zone in meshgenerator you'll see what I'm talking about. There are like hallways that are in the upper left corner of the mesh and they are likely re-used in multiple spots in the zone but this screws up the mesh.

Anyone successfully got this working or are zones like this simply not going to work?

I do not believe there is any way to make nav do the right thing in these cases.

You sir are correct. If the mesh is separated at any point then the mesh won't travel through the separation in game. There is no way to force a connection from one piece of a mesh to another piece of the mesh where the separation happens. With that said however. Any issues/feature requests should be directed to Brainiac at his GitHub. He's currently working at MQ2Nav to correct issues and potentially add features.

I do hope that any issues with MQ2Nav get reported while he's actively working on the code so that it can be documented and hopefully a resolution can be created for the issues. Best of luck!
