Looting old school

So I hate the new loot system... Probably because I do not understand it totally. However, my zerker is my primary looter and more often than not after about 5-10 mobs he will stand and spin in circles with the bot running...

Any help is appreciated.

What's so hard to understand about the new loot system? Seriously. The inventory of the corpse is displayed in a list, you select if you want to automatically need, greed, or ignore those items. Your list is saved within your eq character ini file, and can be imported to other characters via the advloot interface.

It doesn't sound like an understanding problem of the new loot system... it sounds like an inability to (correctly) use the bot with the new loot system.

I was in your boat initially, not liking it after coming back to EQ long after it was implemented. Once I learned it, however, it is tremendously easier and more efficient to implement in macros and bots.

A couple months ago I ran across a nice tutorial on advloot. Try googling Everquest advloot tutorial ?
