This works for me. In Everquest folder, Look for UI file, there is a [DPSAdvWnd] section, change Escapable=0 Locked=1 save and relog EQ should fix this.

I can tell Win10 with 1709 build is not very EQ friendly. I used be able to box 18 chars with no issue, now even with 10 chars, a lot crashes and slowness.

I am seeing the same issue. Everytime zoned, "Esc to close" is clicked, "Locked" is not clicked. When I hit esc, many times the dps window will be accidentally killed. Seems Dpsadv is not saving the settings.
