using mq2bot to play 2 groups

I see that there is a line in the bot ini that says Assistname=

What goes next to the =? The name of a mob? Or the name of a toon to assist?

The real question is: can I set the Mq2bot to assist a person outside the group?

If yes, and you did that as follows:

Toon A from group 1 assists toon B in Group 2

Toon B from group 2 assists toon B in Group 1

Could something like this work to have two groups help each other in battle?

Hi - I'm bumping this the hope that someone could help me figure this out.

The bottom line question, can I play 2 group at the same time with the 2nd group set to assist the 1st group when they are in combat.

If yes, what's the best way to do that? Can I do that using MQ2bot settings?

if you make a raid raid assist should work as ma? but i guess you couldnt use mercs then

there is an AssistName= that you can try that should manually /assist. also there is NetBots. both of those should outside group killing. your XTarget1 still needs to be the kill target so youll need to figure out best method to make that happen. youd probably have prompter response putting your mq2bot question in the mq2bot forum instead of the bot.mac forum that is deprecated.
