I don't know if it bothered anyone else but I was getting this popup every time I started MQ2:

I did not want to totally disable my User Account Control (UAC) warnings for everything although it would have been the easiest solution. So, I did some research and found a fix [ here.] specifically what I did was option #4 on that page. the relevant information I've posted here. Hopefully this could improve some quality of life others.

4. Create an elevated shortcut to bypass UAC
  1. In the home screen search field, type Schedule Tasks and hit Enter.

In the Actions tab, click on Create Task.

  1. Under the General tab, give the task a name of your choice (preferably a name you can identify with the affected program) I named mine MQ2
  2. Tick the Run with highest privileges box.
  3. Proceed by clicking on the Action tab and then on the New button.
  4. Browse to the folder location of the affected program.
  5. Click on the Settings tab and tick the Allow task to be run on demand box, then OK.
  6. Then, right-click on the desktop and select New > Shortcut.
  7. In the Create Shortcut wizard, type: schtasks /run /TN "task name" "MQ2 for mine."
  8. Click on next and proceed with the prompts to complete the shortcut creation.
  9. Right-click on the new shortcut, go to Properties and Change icon.
  10. Select your preferred icon, and then click OK.
    1. what I did here was navigate to my MQ2 install folder and select the launcher. This made my new shortcut have the same icon.
    2. Next I pinned my new shortcut to the taskbar/start bar.
