Been killing spiders for hours but no name spawned. Any tricks or advice on this task?

The task takes place in Empyr right? Does the target named spawn right away after a certain number of kills?

Note: I was using 2 groups. My main group has 6 110 toons and all have the task. My assist group is a Pally & Mage w mercs. Should I eliminate the assist group?

I've done the task a few times and compared notes with others in my guild and what we've noticed is two things.

#1 - Make sure everyone who is killing has the task.

#2 - Kill the same type of mob over and over.

When we did it with 1 group with task + 1 group outside DPS we spent 2 hrs trying to get it to spawn.

When we dropped outside DPS had it spawn in 20-30 minutes.

if there are other people in the zone besides your group the other people could end up spawning your guy. I know it happened to me all day a few months ago. It was quite frustrating once we figure that out.
