Plugin MQ2LazyFind Testing

Hey gang, we have built our own version of MQ2EasyFind due to popular demand, see details below.

New Plugin For Testing:
MQ2LazyFind - Will use MQ2Nav to navigate you to the end of your EQ umbilical cord. This plugin will automatically move you through zones or to npc's/object's that you select ingame.

Usage:
1. Copy the DLL of this post to your MQ2 folder
2. Load plugin (/plugin MQ2LazyFind)
3. Enable plugin (/lazyfind on)

Warning: You will need MQ2Nav loaded with a valid zone mesh, which you can download from MQMesh. Mesh files go in your MQ2Nav folder within your MQ2 folder.

MQ2LazyFind can use the ingame Zone Guide system to travel you to the zone you want to go to, or use the Find button, to move to NPC or object within the zone.

You can also use the /lazytravel command. Example "/lazytravel poknowledge" to automatically run to Plane of Knowledge.

Known Issues:
1) Qeynos/Karana area needs tweaking for valid paths.
2) Feerrott/Dream portals need path tweaking.
3) Pathing can break periodically and get confused when cancelled.
4) No NPC distance shown in FindWindow (Not sure if people really want this or not)

We are after any feedback and suggestions for the plugin to make sure it's solid before releasing.

I have that mac as well. I just didn't want to use VV installer.

Will this use GH Portal for shortest route? Will this look for zone clicks in your inventory for shortest routes? Can you have it offer a pop-up such as.


This shortest route would include a port via Druid or Wizard, do you want to proceed utilizing Ironman Routing Y/N or cancel to find a lazy way?

GoD zones are not connecting.

Thanks, I will take a look at them.

INI file support will be out shortly to help fix zones with troublesome locs. If it is a different issue, it may have to be handled in the plugin.

Does it say "LazyFind :: Activated" when you type /lazyfind on

Try unloading and reloading the plugin

/plugin mq2lazyfind unload
/plugin mq2lazyfind load

There looks like there is a bug where commands are not working if plugin is already loaded. It's being investigated.

The reload plugin problem was fixed in latest build.

What zones require clicks that are not working?

It works clicking PoK books, and going into guild lobby from PoK.

I have invis drop on most zone ins.
