MMOBugs MacroQuest2 for EverQuest: Test Server

Please do not share your MMOBugs username information or MMOBugs Compile with others or your account subscription will be removed!

Basic Installation Instructions:

1. Download MMOBugs Full Installer
2. Run the downloaded file, and properly select your installation directory.
3. Run MMOLoader.exe and apply appropriate updates.

Known Issues:

Perks of Playing on Test Server:

• Free Gold Access.
• 200% increased experience rate.
• Can copy your live character over with /testcopy command.
• Can use /testbuff command to instantly be Level 25 with gear.

Downfalls of Playing on Test Server:

• Limited player base.

Please let us know when a new eqgame.exe is pushed for test server.

I haven't gotten a chance to try this out until today but I can't get it to inject at all on the test server?

Injection is working fine on the live servers for me (with the live mmobugs compile of course).

I just tested and worked here. Here is how I did it.

Make sure all forms of MMOLoader are closed
- Open Launchpad
- Changed "Version: Live" to test up the top left hand corner.
- Wait for patching
- Click Play
- Close launchpad in background
- Load into game.
- Launch MMOLoader for test server.

I just tested and worked here. Here is how I did it.

Make sure all forms of MMOLoader are closed
- Open Launchpad
- Changed "Version: Live" to test up the top left hand corner.
- Wait for patching
- Click Play
- Close launchpad in background
- Load into game.
- Launch MMOLoader for test server.

That is what I was doing except I was launching with WinEQ2 after patching. I had the setting for that profile set to Test for Test / Beta Server.

So it was launching testeqgame.exe instead of eqgame.exe and I'm guessing the loader is only looking for eqgame.exe to inject into. The two files are the same now I'm pretty sure, I didn't do a hex comparison on them but both are 6,776 Kb in size.

EDIT: for the record to clarify, setting WinEQ2's Test / Beta Server setting to Normal, launches eqgame.exe but still goes to test since the patcher updated it for the test version of it, and the loader injects into it fine at that point.

That's a good point. MQ2 (ours or live) has never looked for testeqgame.exe, as it's pretty much never done for test server. I can easily add the capability to mmoloader though. Thanks for pointing it out.

Nope, test server is just a copy of your character that's on live server. Each character is independent from each other once copied.

Try updating MMOLoader first, then once it's finished, close it, and repeat those steps. I don't think MMOLoader likes updating if you are already ingame.

FYI: r u attempting to compile standard stuff and skills and other missing Live stuff on " test loader "??
