picked up an asus rog g751jt-ch71 with my tax return a couple months back, it's got the gtx 970m (3g) and I'm loving it.
I'm not component inclined enough to be able to build a desktop i'm sure I could of saved a lot of money if I were.
But having been a desktop gamer for years I can honestly say as far as botting goes and the portability of the notebook (even though) it's a very heavy notebook i'm extremely happy with it's performance.
the 16g of ram it came with is running 4 accounts full settings @ about 6.5 gigs of ram including bots and macros. so I have 9.5 to play with and it will hold an additional 16g of ram should I choose to purchase 2 more 8g chips. The I7 is only a guad core but it's a powerhouse. As far as boxing goes I have to say ram is probably the most important thing for EQ.
*edit* that's with just the generic EQ windows minimized not wineq2
