Fippy Darkpaw Raid

kill the adds they drop a shard which you use as a dps or a tank class that item on the 2 round from 80 to 60 or something like that and the next round is normal dps not really hard.

what dyou mean when you say use as a dps or a tank click... what's the effect do, or do you just mean have a melee class click it?
 
Pick up shard, click it. It puts a buff on you and you can do damage to Fippy the Undying by meleeing him. You only get about 10-12. If having problems with that part you can "farm" bane clicks by doing Fippy from 100% to 80%, killing the adds and NOT pulling him the second time. He powers up then becomes a demigod and event resets and you can rinse repeat until you get what ever is considered enough banes.

If a caster loots it and can withstand a 30-40K round of wild rampage more power to them but it is preferred they save their mana and health to blow up the adds.

Now for the last 40%, no clue on that cause by the time we get to that our tanks have all died from Fippy one rounding them as Fippy the Fabled Assraper or from adds raping healers, DPS etc.

And oh yeah, this is a cheating community and this section is called raid strats. If you have nothing constructive to post to help people beat the event don't be all cryptic and post useless shit in here. Give useful strats or GTFO.

with the fix they did am sure not many guilds will beat it since it pops about 50 adds + when you get him down to 20% and lower
 
You mean they didnt power him up and he does not rape your raid with his adds at 20% and his crazy ramp?
 
Any idea how far you can pull him from spawn point and avoid bug?
 
Any hint on how to handle ae fd? Or the damage absorbtion?

we have very much enjoyed this raid, but the one item that is avoiding us is the controlling of adds after 40%. Can anyone provide a bit more detail around the 40% ish mark - Do Martyr's really stop adds spawning? from what we see it's possible timed event on their spawning. Any tips/hints etc., or more deatils would the greatly appreicated.
 
My guild beat this just before christmas. It's hard event and especially once you get to the wild rampage to the end. We lock the adds down together and kill them but i've heard of other guilds kiting using knights and trying to ae root with rangers etc.
 
we pull flippy to the top of the bridge and fight him up there really easy to corner him up at the zone in to shining city
 
F__ck you Fippy. Your a c__ck s__king whore!!! this event spawned one add for every alive person in the zone at 20% then again at 10%? What do the martyz do? Man fippy 23- My guild 1.

Got him to 15% .Looks like fippy will not be a farm boy.

Healers / Casters outside the AE range...about damn time they made extended range useful!

Damage absorbtion - not 100% certain there, but banes is what I am guessing for this stage of the fight.
 
we beat fippy, we used the most common method of splitting the raid in half @ 20% using half to kill adds down slowly while the other half of the raid dps'd fippy down slowly. Once adds are dead all went on fippy and we did a rinse and repeat until fippy was dead.
 
having trouble with the 2nd phase, goes to 73% fast and just hangs there.. using the clickies on tanks and melee. Have tried with no one else attacking during that phase and with everyone attacking, no obvious difference. FD's do hurt and haven't found a spot where healing is out of range of the AE.
