I read that they're planning on pushing to a 64 bit EQ client here sometime in 2022 (shortly after the expac release). I was wondering what type of impact that is going to have on the MQ2 scene? I checked around on other MQ2 forums and haven't seen any mention of it at all, but know that there are a lot of folks out there like me who wouldn't continue playing EQ if it weren't for MQ2.

There will be quite a lot of man hours needed to re-find everything in the client. I think worst case we'll see a weeks of downtime but more than likely a few days. Looks like they will have it up on beta and test server for a bit so that should give us enough time to get a head start on it.

There is also discussion about dropping MQ2 support and just supporting MQNext, but I think that can of worms will need to wait until after 64 bit client launch.
