I like it... Don't see a replay value either. I'd have to agree that I should have rented it. A late fee and total rental of $9.00 would have been way better than the $60 I spent on it :P

That was the original plan way back when, but Lucas is said he's done with the movies and is focusing only on the animated series. There was talk of a live action series, but I don't know if that will come to pass.

I could dig up the quote given enough time, I'm sure -- but it went somewhere along the lines of: The movies are really about the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin, after Jedi, there's nothing left to say about him.

so what luke skywalker wasnt his main money maker in the beginning? now its all about anakin? F that noise. i would honestly pay to watch the movies redone with the dark side version, like what all was happening when the jedi were roaming around. i mean were talking an all new 6 movies but more dark side, shoot even turn the star wars unleashed into a movie. would make perfect sense. this guy sits on a gold mind, he can shit gold bricks but yet he chooses not too. thats what happens when you stop smoking weed and your college buddies dont call you any more.
