Anyway to get a xbox halo 3 account back?

Some jack ass hacked my 14 year olds halo 3 account and stold it. few days later my son sees his account online and the punk that took it was taunting him and said more or less hes going to sell it on E-bay. We called up Microsoft and my God they are even less helpful than SOE and say no the account is gone forever. Anyone know how to regain control of this account or have any usefull advice?

only thing i know for halo 3 is the xbox live account? Is that what you were talking about. I have no idea how somebody could hack that lol.

I guess thats what it is, I really have no clue when it comes to anything console related. As for hacking it again I have no clue, I told my son he musy have given someone his password but he said he didn't so im not sure if anything can be done or not.

Yea im not sure anything can be done. Ive never heard of an xbox live account being hacked and what can you put on their that has valuable info lol

sounds like your son is afraid to tell you the truth...the only way to do it is to recover gamer tag on another xbox console where it asks every bit of info needed to get your gamertag going. So chances of some one hacking and "guessing" the exact things needed are 1 in zillions bud. Id ask my son a few more questions about it...cause hes lying.

Yeah I get the feeling hes not telling me everything but he tells me hes not holding anything back so idk. if I knew more about the damn thing maybe I would have a better understanding of it all. Microsoft refunded us the moeny, would like to be able to screw the person on the other end tho for dicking with my kid. lol
