Sly is not all that good of an actor outside action blowingshitupfightmovies. While Ford has a lot more versatile and can play a lot more rolls. Basically he is not type casted.

Maybe its because I grew up who the hell knows but this movie really lacked compared to the first 3. The scene with Young Indy flying around the jungle on vines put the topping on this movie for me to consider it retarded. Lets not forget the Fridge or the box that is magnetic but doesn't seem to pull any guns towards it.

While the movie will probably make decent money because of the actors that are in it. The movie sucked. I can understand why Ford refused to read the reviews about it.

The movie was ok, it will make money like JJ because of the actors and the name of the movie iteslef * its legandary * The Theater play at MGM studios last month was better.

The movie was "OK". I was really excited to see it as I loved the others but this one looked a little like they tried real hard to make it. Parts were very good and parts "as JJ said" like the monkeys and young Indy flying through the tree's was retarded. All and all it was a 5 maybe a 6 for me.

Decent, I suppose. The animal stuff was a bit silly, but excusable. The problem that I had with the movie is that it didn't seem to really line up -- there was no driving force that said, "This is why we went to this next scene/place", things just sorta happened. In Raiders and Lost Crusade, for example, there was a very definitely sense that the point of the movie was to find the treasure, and that there was a very real challenge to it. I felt like Indy was getting handed all of the hard parts on a silver platter.

I would have preferred a story about Excalibur, or maybe the Crown of Thorns, or something like that. The Crystal Skulls in this just seemed too...forced.

I'm glad that I saw it, but if I were to go see a movie again, I'd just go watch Iron Man.

saw this movie tonight and it fucking sucked donkey ass. I hated it i tried getting my money back but i wasnt able to. I wanted to walk out but my girlfriend wanted to stay. imo dont go see this movie!
