MMOBugs Community Rules

Questioning a Rule, Moderator, or Administrator decision publicly either through the board, IRC, or shoutbox and not through PM will not be tolerated and will result in disciplinary action as listed towards the bottom. All actions to be taken are recommended by the Moderator staff for Administrator approval before action is taken.

1. ACCOUNT SHARING ON THIS SITE WILL RESULT IN AN ALTERATION IN YOUR ACCOUNT STATUS. Repeated offenses (more than one) will result from your removal from the community.

2. We do not under any circumstances tolerate flaming. Use your head when posting and use edit if what you said isn’t constructive.

3. MMOBugs.com is a gaming and hacking community that has grown to be much more. Try to keep posts in the appropriate forum and do not be offended if your post is moved to the appropriate section or trashed as the situation may warrant.

4. Language isn’t an issue, considering we are all adults here (for the most part). With that said, keep the context constructive. If you are being abusive, you will have your posted edited, or you will be warned directly. Repeating it and attacking any member, mod, or admin will result in either a probation period or removal of access from the site.

5. Attacking a person's race, religion and real life threats will not be tolerated. Ever.

6. Pictures that you want to put in threads need to be safe for work in all forums. If the picture or website you are posting is questionable, link it with a NSFW warning. Links to pornographic, racist, etc. sites are not allowed. This also includes avatars and signatures.

7. Respect other posters privacy. The posting of any identifying information other than your own will result in a banning due to legal ramifications. This includes names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. Posting your own personal information may still be edited out at our discretion. We don't want you getting 4am phone calls.

8. Spamming and trolling is not allowed. This includes posting multiple threads in the same and/or various forums, repeatedly bumping older threads (thread necromancy) that have no relevance, posting for the sake of upping your post count, or creating multiple new threads for a topic which already exists.

9. Use the search feature before you ask a question and chances are you will get a better response. Nothing frustrates people more than having to answer the same question 18 different times when a simple search could have saved everyone time.

10. Impersonating someone’s identity will result in an instant ban. This also includes intentional posting of information which is false or misleading. (pretending you are in a hospital or worse etc.)

11. Posting information that could cause legal issues or have ramifications outside Everquest for a member of this community is not allowed.

12. Advertising for MMOBugs on other forums is not allowed. While we appreciate people spreading the good word for us, at this time we feel this isn't the best way to approach this situation to generate traffic. We do advertising in different forms, and at this time would request that the sites content stay off the public areas of the class boards and message boards.

13. Under no circumstances will there be discussion, distrobution, development, or otherwise of Ghoskill, monkbug, or any form of these styles of plugins on this site. You will get a one time warning, after which you will be removed from this community. Sorry for the harsh rule, but we really are tired of it.

This isn't a rule per say, but it's highly encouraged: Do not repeatedly ask when a compile is going to be released. It only annoys and frustrates the people doing the development. When it's ready it will be posted and announced.

Breaking the rules above will result in the following actions:

First Offense: PM and Warning from Mod or Admin
Second Offense: “Read Only” status or Suspension depending on the infraction.
Third Offense: Temporary Suspension/Removal of subscription for a set period.
Fourth Offense: Complete removal of access to MMOBugs.com as subject to Admin approval.

All actions will be done with Administrator approval with Moderator recommendation.

For anything that isn’t directly covered by one of the rules above, or falls into a grey area, the Mods and Admins will discuss possible options and take action from there.
