Private Kleinsendungen sind einfuhrabgabenfrei und unterliegen keinen Zollförmlichkeiten, wenn alle nachfolgenden Bedingungen erfüllt sind:
Es handelt sich um Sendungen, die gelegentlich von einer Privatperson in einem Drittland an eine andere Privatperson im Zollgebiet der Gemeinschaft gesandt werden und ausschließlich zum persönlichen Gebrauch oder Verbrauch im Haushalt des Empfängers bestimmt sind und die der Empfänger vom Absender ohne irgendeine Bezahlung erhält und deren Warenwert nicht über 45 EUR liegt.
Zusätzlich dürfen innerhalb der Wertgrenze die folgenden Höchstmengen nicht überschritten werden:
