Quite possibly you are eligable for a new name change!

Can't exactly figure out what triggers this to be eligable or not. I have had a new account (with no server moves or name changes) and the character was able to name change using it. It has worked on 3 of my characters all together. 2 Were not eligable...

Try it, maybe you get the new name you wanted for free.

That worked, got the popup window asking to confirm. "You want to change your first name to NAME, correct?"

Hell yeah, thank god. My old shaman had such a crap ass name when I got him.

i can confirm you get the popup, i hit no for now so cant confirm weather it sticks yet or not.

OK,
I just logged onto every toon that's been transferred in the last 3 months, EVERY one has been eligible for the name change. This rocks. I would name my first born after you man, if it weren't for the fact that:
A. I never want kids
B. My fiance would likely kill me, and then track you down and flay you alive.

So another big THANKS will just have to suffice.

It's got something to do with the transfers. one of my toons was just a server transfer, he was flagged for namechange, another was account transfer only and he was flagged too. 2 more were account and server transfer and all 3 of them were as well.

I changed a toon's name after moving him servers a couple of months ago... lol randomly tried that command and it worked. Should have posted about it :P
